In this sub-project a model building is constructed in order to find possibilities to save heating energy.
The heating system will be controlled based on a smart thermostat (Homematic IP). The thermostat can be controlled through
different states of other sensors and via the system Home Assistant.
The model
heater serves as a demonstration object for students, showcasing how a
heating control system can be implemented.
Additionally, it will be used to collect heating behavior and other
measurement data. This data will be processed and transmitted to
ChatGPT, enabling the calculation of potential CO2 savings through
adjustments in heating behavior.
